![]() ![]() And I'm sure that there are games after Starcraft that stripped back the technical sophistication even further, to the state you see here with essentially static images with no animation frames or perspective shifts. I want to say Starcraft? I'm sure there are games prior to Starcraft that used hyperreal sprite-based graphics, but it was pretty early in the time period when this had become technically feasible. ![]() It's been a thing, in various forms, all the way back to. Those Tachyon Lances dont play around.I feel like this is "high res 2D art", or words to that effect. I actually got the Paragon on my first raid, first try, and noped the fuck out because I still lost a bunch of my destroyers and even a cruiser that I had used all early to mid game. That's the best advice I can give, besides lots of high flux tanks and a bunch of Gryphons with Sabots and Reapers. You need a few high-flux tanks to hide behind and vent flux, otherwise you'll get picked apart because the range of the Lances means you wont be able to disengage and vent before you get overloaded and destroyed. Luckily the location of Culann means that you can usually sneak a raiding party in and attack when there arent any defending fleets to complicate things, but it's still risky business because of those Tachyon Lances. If your shields are up and you're taking lots of hard flux, the Lances can arc and damage your engines, leaving you stranded to get facefucked by the other weapons. The station surrounding it is hella tough though, as it has really long range Tachyon Lances. I found my Paragon BP by raiding TriTach's world with the Orbital Starworks (Culann). To add to what you wrote tough, most factions require you to have a commision on top of a high rep to buy from their military market, independents being the big exception. Tough I think the location only influences the odds of Blueprints spawning and not on which Blueprint it is.īut just buying them is sometimes the easiest solution. Now ruined research stations are your best bet, they are guarenteed to contain a large number of blueprints, they also tend to spawn more in systems containing blackholes, neutron stars, or systems with. Ruined habitats and mining stations also have good odds at containing blueprints. Planetary ruins usually contain a few with larger ruins having better odds and more blueprints. Wrecked ships and caches seem to have the smallest chance of containing a blueprint and rarely more the one. All the pre-generated wrecks, planetary ruins, all sizes of weapon and supply caches, and all ruined habitats/mining/research stations. Literary anything can contain blueprints. Click that and enjoy killing people with your new machine. on the top, you will have now (keyboard button 2) BUY option. ![]() Basically, when you go to the colony a menu will appear where you can choose, calling the colony, trading and stuff. I struggled to find that one on one of the replies here. Buying ships is not really explained in the game. If you have a good enough reputation they will well you good ships for a price. You can buy them from any colony, best would be to go to the station that is noted with Military. Weapons cache, Supply cache? Maybe? I don't buy stuff, I bulldoze through the game with a hatchet(scraped D-mod ships) until my colony has Heavy Industry and I can make ships of my own. The best sources are research stations, that I know for sure after that. On the other hand, I find at least one capital ship in the first 20 hours of gameplay (exploring is my main source of income). I read people say that they explore half of the sector and don't find a paragon blueprint. ![]()
